20 PhD Studentships in Medical Sciences at University of Oxford

Studentships Wellcome Trust Doctoral Programmes 2008 Medical Sciences Division.
The Medical Sciences Division is pleased to announce the availability of 20 PhD studentships in the following 4 Year Doctoral Programmes:

Each 4-year programme will comprise a first year common to all students within that programme and a 3-year self directed research project. The first year will include taught modules and laboratory rotations designed to equip students with the knowledge to make an informed choice of doctoral project.

These programmes are available for admission in October 2008 and are open to all Home/EU and overseas students. A starting stipend of approximately £17,442 per annum will be provided. Tuition fees will be paid at the Home/EU rate. The deadline for receipt of applications is 11th January 2008.
